My Day Surgery Checklist
I had to have surgery the other day, after 3 1/2 years of pain from a torn meniscus in my left knee. And, me being me, that precipitated the creation of a “Day Surgery Checklist”. As you can see in the pic, the pre-op cleaning agent dried to lovely pink that matched the polish on my toes!
Anyway, back to the checklist. Before I travelled the one and a half hours to the hospital, I had to pack and I needed a way to keep track of everything I thought I’d need, and it turns out, several things that could have stayed home.
And the biggest thing that could have stayed home? My Filofax. Didn’t even manage to crack that baby open as I read before surgery and was too loopy afterward to worry about it! *lol
Hopefully this little checklist will help you keep things straight if you ever have to have day surgery! It’s in A5 size, and can be scaled according to your own planner size!
