1 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoons salt
2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
Directions
- Add brown sugar, flour and salt to saucepan.
- Over high heat, gradually stir in 2 cups hot water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce to medium heat and cook until thick. Stirring constantly to prevent burning.
- Once thick, remove from heat and add vanilla and butter/margarine.
- Serve.
